On Tuesday, 18 June 2024, the national round of the Gornest Lyfrau (Book Contest) was held at the Arts Centre, Aberystwyth.
The winning schools were:
1st – Ysgol Melin Gruffydd, Cardiff – received £200 worth of books
2nd – Ysgol Pennant, Pen-y-Bont-Fawr – received £150 worth of books
3rd – Ysgol Bro Cinmeirch, Llanrhaeadr-yng-Nghinmeirch – received £100 worth of books
