Hello. My name is Charlie Evans and I live in Anglesey. I am 17 years old and studying A Level Welsh, History, and French. From October, I will be studying French at Oxford University, hopefully looking at literature which sheds a light on social problems. I enjoy reading French and Welsh language novels, including novels by Philipe Besson, Manon Steffan Ros and Saunders Lewis. As a member of the Young People’s Panel, I hope to highlight under-representation in Welsh literature. I would like to ensure that young voices are at the root of promoting literature in Wales. I am truly looking forward to working with the panel.
