My name is Gwen and I’m a first year student at Bangor University, studying Law and Welsh. I come from Aberystwyth originally, but I went to the sixth form at Ysgol Glantaf in Cardiff. Young avid readers are rare today, partly due to the increase in social media. My aim as a member of the panel, therefore, is to utilise these social platforms to promote reading and ensure that thrilling Welsh books are appreciated by our generation.
