The Books Council of Wales administers publishing grants for a wide range of English-language books and magazines for adults and children. In particular, we support publications with a Welsh cultural focus, including leisure and literary publications. Please note that we do not subsidise textbooks or similar educational materials.
Funding is also available towards commissioning authors, employing creative editors and marketing officers, and towards some book marketing initiatives. See below for further details.
