Any publisher who would like advice on how to apply for one of our publishing grants for English-language material is welcome to contact the Publishing Development Department at english.grants@books.wales, especially if you’re just starting up. Please note that the Books Council does not accept applications directly from authors or artists.
If you’re an author, an illustrator or a designer looking for support, you need first of all to secure the support of a publisher who in turn will submit an application to the Books Council.
